QHow do I create an account or log in?
Download the NOW Optimal app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Log in using the same email address associated with your patient account. If you don't have an account yet, contact our office to get set up.
QI forgot my password. How do I reset it?
On the login screen, tap “Forgot Password?” and enter your email address. You'll receive a password reset link. If you don't receive the email within a few minutes, check your spam folder or contact us for assistance.
QHow do I schedule an appointment?
Open the app and navigate to the Appointments tab. Select your preferred appointment type, choose an available time slot, and confirm your booking. You'll receive a confirmation notification once scheduled.
QHow do I view my lab results?
Lab results are available in the Dashboard section of the app once processed by your provider. You'll receive a notification when new results are available. For questions about your results, please message your care team through the app's chat feature or call our office.
QHow do I update my payment method?
Go to the Billing section in the app. You can add a new payment method, remove existing ones, or set a default card. All payment processing is handled securely through Stripe.
QHow do I message my care team?
Use the Messages tab in the app to communicate directly with your care team. Messages are secure and HIPAA-compliant. For urgent medical concerns, please call our office directly or dial 911.
QHow do I delete my account?
You can request account deletion through the app or by visiting our Account Deletion page. Please note that medical records must be retained as required by law, even after account deletion.
QIs my health data secure?
Yes. We take data security very seriously. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Our systems are hosted on HIPAA-compliant AWS infrastructure. We never sell your data or use it for advertising. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
QThe app isn't working properly. What should I do?
Try these steps: (1) Force-close and reopen the app. (2) Check for app updates in your device's app store. (3) Ensure you have a stable internet connection. (4) Restart your device. If the issue persists, contact us at hello@nowoptimal.com with a description of the problem and your device type.
